Validate with Confidence: In-House Mold Tryouts
Real-world testing in Weber’s production-grade presses—accelerating time-to-market while preserving your production line.
Weber’s modern mold tryout facility includes multiple heavy-duty compression presses—ranging from our massive 3,250-ton system (3.5 × 2.5 m) to a 75-ton spotting press—plus a total of five stations dedicated to simulation, validation, and small run testing. These presses support steam, hot water, oil heating, and vacuum molding, giving you full process control without impacting your own production equipment.

Precision Tryouts on Production-Scale Equipment
All presses are fully programmable for mold spotting, functional testing, and fine-tuning cycle sequences. This allows rapid validation of complex tools and molding processes—right here at Weber—helping catch any fit, release, or thermal issues before your mold enters full production
Full-Feature Molding Environment
Our 6,500 sq ft tryout area supports a range of molding processes and auxiliary control systems, including automated mold spotting, vacuum forming, and integrated hydraulic systems. It’s the same environment, materials, and settings your production molders use—giving you more accurate, reliable trial results.
